Phoenix investors among the nation's most savvy in new report

In what has been a roller coaster year for investors, Phoenix investors have fared among the best in the nation.

SmartAsset.com released a review of investment for various cities in the U.S., and Phoenix came in No. 4 out of 129 cities examined.

Granted, in a tough year, the investors in the city only turned in an annual return of -3.4 percent. The report also examined portfolio volatility and post-tax returns.
