California Supreme Court upholds $16M age discrimination verdict against Staples

The California Supreme Court has upheld a $16.3 million age discrimination and wrongful termination against Staples that was awarded by a Los Angeles jury.

In 2014, the L.A. jury found in favor of defendant Bob Nickel, who alleged that Staples fired him based on his age. Staples had appealed the punitive damages awarded by the jury to the Supreme Court.
