Garth Saloner, the dean of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, said he will step down at the end of the 2015-2016 academic year as he defends himself in a lawsuit tied to a divorce between faculty members.
Saloner said in an email to the business-school community that he had decided it’s in the best interests of Stanford and the business school for him to step down, according to the university's news service. Saloner has served as the dean since 2009.
