The United Way of Central Maryland has named Donald C. Fry, CEO of the Greater Baltimore Committee, as chair of its 2015 fundraising campaign.
The nonprofit aims to raise more than $24 million through the campaign, which will support United Way's work to support underprivileged families throughout the Baltimore area.
“We have a big task this year,” Fry said in a statement. “Recent events in Baltimore have demonstrated that we need to come together as a community now more than ever."
