What was your reaction to being named the Defense Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of WNY, which recognized your trial conduct and advocacy of the defense position?
It was a big surprise when I got the call earlier in the year from one of the officers of the association. Sometimes you get calls that are surprisingly upsetting and other times you get calls that are surprisingly uplifting. It was the latter this time so that was nice. ...
