The search for the site of a new Hillsborough County courthouse building will include downtown locations.
Court administrators had been looking at a site on Falkenberg Road, 10 miles east of downtown, but will now expand the search. The new facility will replace three buildings next to the George E. Edgecomb Courthouse on Twiggs Street, the Tampa Tribune said. The annex buildings are more than 50 years old and inadequate for their purpose.
