Two area lawyers are being disciplined by the Florida Supreme Court – including a Jacksonville attorney who has closed down her office and appears to have left the country.
Alma Celeste Defillo, of 660 Park St., is suspended after she failed to respond in writing to the Florida Bar concerning two complaints. Defillo proceeded to close her office and effectively disappeared from the area.
