Internet Patents Corp. announced Thursday that its Prism Technologies subsidiary won a $30 million jury verdict against telecom company Sprint Corp.
The award follows a six-day jury trail in Omaha, Neb., where Prism is based.
Internet Patents (Nasdaq: PTNT) is based in Folsom. In March of this year, Internet Patents completed a $16.5 million acquisition of Prism Technologies LLC.
“The can appeal it, or they can accept it,” said Greg Duman, president of Prism. He declined further comment.
