BLJ Editor’s Notebook: Schnirel finds brother’s legal passion

Matthew Schnirel wanted to be an attorney since about age 5, according to his sister, Rebecca. She can recount stories about him innocently putting on spirited plays in the family’s front yard, depicting the O.J. Simpson murder trial while it played out in real life in an L.A. courtroom in 1995.
