Average airfares to and from Maui and the Mainland have dropped more than 11 percent this Memorial Day weekend while domestic airfares remain steady, according to a report from Airlines Reporting Corp.
The study looked at tickets sold through Airlines Reporting Corp. partners before April 30 for travel on Memorial Day weekend, which starts Friday, and was the weekend of May 23-26 in 2014. It included 530,940 tickets sold for U.S.-only trips and U.S.-to-Europe trips.
