New scam asks $150 to file a paper the ACC doesn't want

In another scam to take your money, the Arizona Corporation Commission warns of a misleading solicitation to file unneeded paperwork on behalf of a business.

A company called Compliance Filings Services, 2942 N. 24th St., Phoenix, is soliciting a $150 fee to file corporations' annual minutes. The commission does not require annual minutes to be filed.

The ACC is not affiliated with CFS, according to spokeswoman Angie Holdsworth.
