Sanchez Energy Corp. (NYSE: SN) named Greg Kopel as the company's new general counsel and senior vice president.
Kopel assumed the newly created role on Dec. 14.
Prior to joining Sanchez, Kopel served as vice president and associate general counsel at Los Angeles-based Breitburn Energy Partners LP. He also served in corporate legal positions at Houston-based Occidental Petroleum Corp. and Linn Energy LLC
