Examiner to be appointed in Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Colorado manufacturing exec

Craig Walker, a self-made multi-millionaire and owner of Midwestern shopping malls, Colorado ranches, a Denver manufacturing company and a majority owner in bank holding companies, will remain in charge of his businesses as they are sold to settle his debts, according to a ruling Tuesday by a federal judge. Walker and his wife, Susan, filed for voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection from creditors in July. Court filings on their behalf indicate that Walker has more than $150 million in assets.…
