A Bexar County district judge has granted San Antonio-based Xenex Disinfection Services’ request for a temporary restraining order against a competing biotech company from Tennessee, Tru-D SmartUVC, Xenex officials said.
Xenex, which has developed and is marketing pulsed xenon UV germ-zapping robots used by medical facilities to reduce health care-associated infections, claims in a court filing that Memphis-based Tru-D is “making false and misleading statements” about its product.
