A new state court in Davidson County has been created to focus exclusively on complex business litigation, the Tennessee Supreme Court ordered Monday.
The new court is designed as a pilot project to identify best practices for developing a future Tennessee Business Courts system, the court said. It will begin hearing cases filed on or after May 1.
