Phoenix defense contractor gets prison time over faulty wing pins, falsifying records

A Phoenix defense contractor has been sentenced to six months in federal prison on fraud and obstruction of justice charges related to an F-15 wing pin contract. U.S. District Court Judge Diane Humetewa sentenced Malcom Robert Markson, 45, to the prison term for falsifying design specifications and safety records for 212 wing pins his Phoenix company shipped to the U.S. Department of Defense.
