Estate of late Georgia Gov. Sanders donates $3.4 million to UGA law school

The University of Georgia School of Law received a $3.4 million donation from the estate of former Georgia Gov. Carl E. Sanders. The Athens,Ga.-based school said nearly $2.4 million will be used to create the Carl E. Sanders Law Scholarship Fund, which will provide scholarships to law students.
