Reddit interim CEO Ellen Pao objected on Friday to Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers request that she shell out nearly $1 million in expenses for the firm’s witnesses during her sex-discrimination trial.
The majority of Kleiner’s costs are for expert witnesses who testified at the trial. Pao called the expenses “grossly excessive and unreasonable,” according to the Wall Street Journal. The firm offered to waive the $972,814.50 in expenses if Pao agreed to not appeal the case.
