Transit union files to block SORTA streetcar operations decision

The local chapter of the Amalgamated Transit Union and the Cincinnati AFL-CIO have filed an injunction to block the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority from making a decision on Cincinnati’s streetcar operations contract at its specially scheduled meeting. Court turns down Scottsdale ban of business sign walkers

The Arizona Court of Appeals has struck down Scottsdale’s ban on sign walkers who use sandwich board and other signs to promote businesses on street corners. Foodies in Honolulu may not have to far to find a healthy amount of restaurants, breweries and farmers markets to try, according to an analysis by NerdWallet, which ranked Hawaii's capital as the 11th best city nationwide for foodies.
