2 insurance premiums mean 2 separate payouts, Colorado Supreme Court says

Insurance companies that do business in Colorado may want to take a close look at how they pay out on their uninsured policies following a Colorado Supreme Court ruling Monday.

In Calderon v. American Family Mutual Insurance Company, the court said that the insurance company couldn't pay a medical policy and then deduct that amount from a separate payout under a uninsured/underinsured policy.
