The Tennessee Supreme Court on Thursday ruled on a longstanding tax dispute between state revenue officials and the parent company of Verizon Wireless.The court determined the state commissioner of revenue was within his authority to put in place a tax variance on Verizon’s parent, Vodafone America Holdings.
