Honolulu law firm Schlack Ito takes over as NextEra Energy's counsel in Hawaiian Electric acquisition

NextEra Energy Inc., which is buying Hawaiian Electric Co. for $4.3 billion, is replacing the Honolulu law firm representing the Florida-based energy company in its acquisition case before Hawaii regulators, according to public documents.
