The Denver Business Journal staff has won 37 awards, including 19 first-place honors, in the Society of Professional Journalists' annual four-state competition for news excellence.
It was the most awards ever for the DBJ staff in SPJ's "Top of the Rockies" contest, and the most top prizes.
The awards, for excellence in print, digital and broadcast journalism, were presented Friday night by SPJ's Colorado chapter at the Denver Press Club.
