Cox Communications sues AT&T, claims U-Verse infringes Cox's patents

Cox Communications is claiming that Dallas-based AT&T's U-Verse service is wrongfully using Cox's technology. In a lawsuit filed on May 11 in a federal court in Atlanta, Cox, the country's third-largest cable company, says AT&T Inc.'s U-Verse is infringing on three of Cox's patents. U-Verse is a high speed broadband, video and voice service.
