Colorado firms join national safety effort in construction industry

Three Colorado construction companies have joined a national movement to promote on-the-job safety that is emphasizing the effect on families of injured workers. Golden-based Atkinson Construction, Flatiron Construction of Longmont and MWH Constructors of Broomfield are part of the national effort, which kicked off National Safety Week in New York Monday.
