The owner of a health club in Springville faces a maximum of 10 years in jail after pleading guilty to health-care fraud.
While running Spring Creek Athletic Club, between 2009 and 2012, Gary Wannamacher, submitted fraudulent claims to private health insurance companies for reimbursement of health programs offered at the gym that were not actually attended by the beneficiaries listed in the claims, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
