The Comcast-Time Warner merger may stop short of the U.S. Department of Justice, according to a Bloomberg report.
Renata Hesse, a deputy assistant attorney general, will review recommendations made by antitrust attorneys at the DOJ before deciding whether to file a federal lawsuit to block the acquisition.
The report, citing anonymous sources familiar with the situation, said the attorneys may submit their final recommendations to Hesse next week.
