Bell's Brewing Inc. out of Kalamazoo, Mich., has engaged in a trademark dispute with the small brewery in Sylva. Innovation is run by Chip Owen and Nicole Dexter, who founded the brewery in 2013. They produce about 500 barrels per year — compare that with Bell's, which produced more than 300,000 barrels in 2014.
