Tad Smith, CEO of the Madison Square Garden Company, is leaving MSG to assume the helm of Sotheby's, the international auction house announced today. As he did with MSG, which he led for 13 months, Smith will also carry the title of president at Sotheby's when he joins the organization on March 31.
