The median price of a condominium on Kauai rose 39 percent in January on fewer sales, while sales of single-family homes increased by 65 percent, according to the Hawaii Information Service on behalf of the Kauai Board of Realtors.
The median price of a condo on Kauai last month was $430,000, compared to $310,000 in January 2014. But the number of units sold dropped 21 percent to 26 sales, compared to 33 units sold during the same month last year.
