Gov. Abbott makes more appointments for state transportation commission

Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed J. Bruce Bugg Jr. and Tyron Lewis to the Texas Transportation Commission, according to an announcement Friday from the governor's office. Bugg, a San Antonio resident, is currently the chair and CEO of Argyle Investment Co. LLC as well as president, board chair and CEO for Southwest Bancshares Inc, president and CEO of Texas Hill Country Bancshares Inc., and is board chair for The Bank of San Antonio.
