Japan-based Watabe Wedding Corp. is opening in the space formerly occupied by Rijo and Palomino restaurants at the Harbor Court condominium tower in Downtown Honolulu, Pacific Business News has learned.The wedding services giant, which was founded in 1953, filed a $2.5 million building permit this week with the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Planning and Permitting for renovations to the former Rijo restaurant space at 55 Merchant St. It is scheduled to open early next year.
